SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: June 17, 2026

Scope: These terms apply solely to the SMS text messages a local business ("the Business") sends to its own customers to request post-service feedback and customer satisfaction (NPS) surveys, using a third-party messaging platform ("the Platform").

These terms do not govern the Platform's own services or any other relationship; they describe only the Business's SMS feedback program as presented to the customer who receives the messages.

1. The Messaging Program

By providing a mobile phone number and consenting, a customer agrees to receive SMS messages from the Business for the limited purposes of:

  • Post-service feedback requests — a message asking the customer to rate a recent experience, sent once per service interaction.
  • Customer satisfaction (NPS) surveys — an optional follow-up message asking how likely the customer is to recommend the Business.

The Business does not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages through this program.

2. How Consent Is Obtained

Customers provide their mobile number and consent to receive these messages at the point of service — for example at appointment booking, at checkout, at service completion, or by signing or checking a box on a written intake form. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or service from the Business.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on the customer's interactions with the Business. In most cases a customer receives one feedback request per completed service, and at most one optional follow-up survey message.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. The Business and the Platform do not charge for these messages, but the customer's mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates according to the customer's plan.

5. Opt-Out

Customers may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After a STOP reply, no further messages will be sent. Customers may re-subscribe at any time by replying START or YES.

6. Help

Customers may reply HELP to any message to receive support contact information, or contact the Business directly at the location or phone number where they received service.

7. Supported Carriers

This messaging program is available on major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the customer's carrier and handset capabilities.

8. Eligibility

This program is intended for customers in the United States who are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided. Customers must be of legal age to consent to receive SMS messages.

9. Privacy

Information collected for this messaging program is handled as described in the SMS Customer Privacy Policy. Customer mobile information is not sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above. Continued participation in the messaging program after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Contact

For questions about this messaging program or to stop receiving messages, reply STOP or HELP to any message, or contact the Business directly at the location where you received service.

These terms cover SMS feedback and survey messages only. They do not govern any other communications from the Business or from the platform delivering these messages.
